Pendleton

Begun by weaver Thomas Kay, and family-owned and operated for more than six generations, the uniquely American story of Pendleton Woolen Mills continues today. From the 1909 purchase of a mill at the railhead along the Oregon Trail in Pendleton, Oregon, through lean years during the Great Depression and the war years when the company produced blankets for the military, to the present time, the Bishop family has produced Indian blankets, robes and shawls, which are highly prized by much of the Native American population. You can see and feel the Pendleton passion for quality in the intricate patterns and brilliant colors of the Pendleton Trade blankets inspired by Native American designs and legends. These soft and durable Pendleton blankets have been a benchmark for beauty and quality for over 100 years; and that legacy is one you can rely on for a lifetime of comfort and beauty.
